Little Joseph - Kyabram Newborn Photographer

Let's be Instagram friends!

Hi All,
So this is me, the face behind the camera. This post takes me waaaaay out of my comfort zone, I much prefer staying behind the camera, but I thought it was about time I introduced myself.
So what can I tell you? I am a wife. I am a mum of three aged 12, 11 and 9.
I have been a local to the Goulburn Valley region my whole life, although I do love to travel and explore new places.
I consider myself a fairly easy going and patient person, which is a good thing considering I married a farmer 😂

What else can I tell you... I love living out of town, I love the river, I love the outdoors in general, I love to read, I love all things arty, I love music, I love building things, I love summer but hate winter (although I love all the things that winter brings like warm fires, soup, snuggly clothing etc), I only slightly love shopping 😆, I love family time and of course I love photography. Most importantly for all of you I love my job, which I really hope is reflected in my work and when I interact with you as my clients!
Not sure what else to say really so I’ll leave it there and go and procrastinate for a while until I build up the courage to press post.

It’s been almost a week since my kids went back to school and although I miss the relaxed mornings and fun times spent together, I have achieved so much in this last week! Lots of behind the scenes work has been happening. The studio is having a few new additions installed. Book work is now all up to date (never thought I’d say that one) in both my photography business and our farm business too. Finally I am going to have time to start working on my long list of things I would like to do but never find the time for, before the work starts to pick up again after my fantastic break. Hope all the other parents out there are enjoying being back into routine again too!

Wondering when is the best time to book a newborn session? The answer is ideally during your second trimester. This gives me plenty of notice to secure you a booking. We simply then pencil in your due date as a guide and then work out an exact time a date for the session once your little one has arrived. Ps- How cute is little Joseph!

Baby Joseph was my first newborn of 2020 today. This tiny little bundle certainly had me on my toes, but I loved every minute of it. It didn’t take long to realise just how much I have missed being in the studio. 📷
